The Island of Bali
The island of Bali covers an area of 5,632.86 square kilometers with a population of around 3.2 million people. This averages to 517 inhabitants per km2. is divided into eight regencies and 1 one municipality. The people who live in Bali are mostly rely on tourism and agriculture.

Bali Climate
Bali has a tropical climate, influenced by seasonal wind patterns, which alternate every six months. There are two seasons: the dry season from April to October and the rainy season from October to April. Temperatures vary from 24 degrees Celsius to 34 degrees Celsius. Mountainous area (like Kintamani) has a very unpredictable weather in rainy season and also has lower temperature for all year round. Cooler and windy seasons usually between July to August with the temperature of 18 to 29 degrees Celsius. Humidity averages, between 80% during the wet season and could reach to as high as 90%, whereas in the dry season around 60%.

Currency
Bali in someway is not the same as other parts of Indonesia, you may keep your USD currency and need not change it all to Indonesian Rupiah. Because Indonesian Rupiah is one of the most fluctuating currency in the world, most hotels and activities in Bali are quoted in USD currency . The highest rate (within the last 3 years) have been Rp.8.200/1USD and the bottom of Rp.12.000/1USD.
