Even if you're not a golfer, don't worry - you'll never feel as though you need to learn to play golf as this resort has something for everyone. Facilities offered include a well-equipped gymnasium, tennis and squash courts, extensive spa facilities and treatments and various supervised daily activities including cycling and Balinese dancing lessons. The gardens are one of the most striking features of the hotel. The entrance is dramatic, with acres of rice terraces built into the landscape of the Greg Norman-designed golf course. These rice terraces are not for show as local farmers farm the 30 hectares of fields and the proceeds are shared among the villagers. There are four pools, including a wading pool for the kids in the children's Penguin Club. The pools have an integrated design of water slides, waterfalls and jacuzzis. The main lagoon pool has a 54-metre slide and is the venue for water aerobics, water polo and volleyball. Adjacent to the main lagoon is the venue for our weekly seafood market in an open-air setting. Set upon seven-metre cliffs, guests enjoy the sounds of the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean and the warm, tropical breezes. The beach is not accessible from here, although at low tide the black, sandy beach provides some great opportunities for morning or evening walks. Access is gained just 100 metres along the clifftop.

Believed to be one of the most dramatic golf courses in the world, our 18-hole signature golf course was designed by one of the foremost golfers of our time, Greg Norman.  Not only is Le Meridien Nirwana Golf & Spa resort the only hotel in Bali with its own golf course but also it is one of only three courses on the island.  Set against a spectacular backdrop, the golf course is an ideal venue for international golf tournaments. The course's integration of natural features such as streams, ponds and even rice terraces make for more interesting and challenging play.

New spa treatments
Le Meridien Nirwana Golf and Spa Resort has created innovative new spa treatments combining the wisdom of traditional Eastern natural herbal remedies and high-tech Western spa equipment.

Tranquillity prevails at the spa, within a variety of treatments and massages available, designed to enhance well-being and ease away stress. The East Meets West spa treatment is drawn from the Balinese Hindu spiritual look Usadha, using spa technology and products from the West. The special series of full body treatments reduces muscle fatigue, cellulite and adipose tissue while detoxifying the body.

Meeting and Banquet at Le Meridien Bali
Catering from 24 to 600, meeting and banquet facilities at Le Meridien Nirwana are world class. The Grand Ballroom can comfortably seat 300 in banquet style within its spacious, 650-square-metre interior. It also has state-of-the-art facilities for large-scale, elaborate indoor events. A separate business centre is near the meeting area for delegate convenience, offering services such as typing, photocopying, Internet access and facsimile. Le Meridien Nirwana has four smaller meeting rooms ranging from 77 to 100 square metres. Le Patio, a pre-function area, is available for cocktails, morning and afternoon tea breaks, lunch and dinner for up to 250 guests. Food and Dining
Cendana Restaurant - spacious and fresh in the morning light, the Cendana rouses the appetite at the start of the day. At breakfast a wide choice of menu items are offered with some cooked-to-order specialities included in the buffet price, such as eggs, waffles and pancakes. After a sumptuous buffet breakfast, all day dining is available offering an à la carte menu. At lunch and dinner, the cuisine is a mix of international and local favourites and can be enjoyed both indoor and outdoor. A wide selection of wines is available. A specialty of the Cendana restaurant is sunset dinner with dramatic views of Pura Tanah Lot and the Indian Ocean.

Pool Grill - during the day, enjoy the open-style pool grill offering both local and international favourites of fresh seafood, grills pizzas and salads. At night time, the mood changes to a romantic candlelit hideaway offering Al Fresco Mediterranean cuisine.

Sunset Lounge - open daily from 10.00am, the Sunset Lounge offers a magnificent view of the Indian Ocean and the famed Tanah Lot Sea Temple. Serving a wonderful range of exciting cocktails and a menu of popular snacks, the Sunset Lounge is the perfect venue to start your evening. This has perhaps the most beautiful view in all of Bali.

Nirwana Restaurant - the hotel's premier dining room is opened each evening for dinner except Sunday. The menu offers a range of Asian cuisine from the northern part of China all the way to South East Asia. Reservations for this popular dining spot are certainly recommended. A specialty of the house is the Rijstaffel menu!

Nautilus Pizzeria and Pub - open daily from 5.00pm till 1.00am, Nautilus offers a casual environment to relax. Complete with a full size snooker table, dartboard, karaoke and sound system, this venue is the place to unwind after a busy day on the road or by the pool! Major international sporting events are shown on the big screen.
