Immersing you in the spirit of this sacred place, Sayan's rejuvenating secrets celebrate the healing power of nature: earthen clays, mountain botanicals and warming spices. All in an environment of simple sophistication, complete with hot and cold plunge pools and every comfort and luxury.

Spa Villas - The three spa villas reflect the elegant Balinese architecture of the Resort. Natural materials combine with native designs in such blissful elements as teak wood cabinets and flooring, hand-blown glass wash basins, hand-loomed Sulawesi silk furniture coverings, customised terrazzo massage tables and thatched roofs. Each of the spa villas accommodates tandem treatments for couples. For convenience, they are connected to outdoor bathing pavilions offering steam showers, while large soaking tubs with adjacent open-air showers discreetly overlook private garden courtyards. FOOD AND DINING

Ayung Terrace - Elegantly situated on the crest of a lush gorge, Ayung Terrace offers breathtaking views of the river below. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Seating for 24 is available in the dining room, an outdoor terrace area accommodates 40 people, and an adjacent wine cellar area seats eight.
Specialties - The inspired menu offers a selection of innovative, contemporary Asian-style cuisine and Indonesian specialties. The chef also creates unique specials each day. A children's menu is available.

Riverside Cafe - A casual, poolside, open-air setting with a wood-burning pizza oven. Set in the valley by the sacred Ayung River and shaded by an alang-alang thatched roof and umbrellas, this restaurant is open from late morning to early evening and seats 40.
Specialties - The restaurant offers light fare and wood-burning-oven pizzas. The chef also creates a fish and pasta dish daily. A children's menu is available.
Special dinner buffets - The Nusantara (name of the Indonesian island archipelago) dinner buffet features a variety of favourite local dishes, made from soothing coconuts to firey chilies which promise to stimulate your appetite. The Barbecue dinner buffet, on the other hand, features a selection of mouth-watering barbecued items prepared over live charcoal grills.

 

BALINESE COOKING CLASSES
The Resort Chef invites you to experience a hands-on approach to the exotic world of Balinese cooking. Our cooking excursion begins at 8:00 am with an escorted outing to the local market, where you will see an abundant selection of fresh fruits, vegetables and spices and, if you prefer, the chef will conduct a tour of our gardens and show you where we grow herbs, vegetables and spices. This garden tour is followed by an informative class in the Ayung Terrace kitchen.

 

FITNESS FACILITIES
The Fitness Centre offers cardiovascular equipment, furnished with individual audiovisual monitors and headsets, and an extensive range of weight-training machines and free weights.

SERVICE FOR KIDS
Whether yours is just beginning, all grown-up or at any stage in-between, Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay is a wonderful base for your family. Children age two to 12 will be immersed into the rich culture of Bali at the Jimba Club, inspired by the turtles that lay eggs on Jimbaran Beach on front of the Resort. Warm Balinese hospitality is provided by well-trained and friendly Resort staff. Children under 12 can share their parents' room at no extra charge.

Note: If your family includes very young children, please be aware that Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan is set by a swift river in a hilly section of the remote jungle. Villas also feature unattended plunge pools.

 

MAIN POOL
Placed within the sound of the Ayung River, the large, two-level swimming pool is a cool and relaxing oasis designed to follow the river's natural contours. It is surrounded by a wooden deck furnished with comfortable chaises longues, offering breathtaking views of the river.
