FOOD AND DINING
PJ's - The mood at PJ's is always upbeat and casual. Seating on two decks and at the bar provides a clear view of the beach and Jimbaran Bay.
Specialties: PJ's presents an international menu with an emphasis on fish and seafood, wood-burning oven pizza and pasta, as well as a full bar. A children's menu is available, as well as dishes with customised children's portions.

Taman Wantilan - Perched above the shoreline, Taman Wantilan offers unparalleled views of Jimbaran Bay and Bali's distant volcanoes. The restaurant's unique design features two open-air pavilions with a spectacular view. Reservation recommended, especially for groups and non-Resort guests.
Specialties: Taman Wantilan provides a marvelous balance of innovative Indonesian specialties. The dinner menu features the Chef's daily special. A children's menu is available, as well as dishes with customised children's portions.

Warung Mie - Warung Mie serves exotic Asian noodle dishes on the main wooden deck with its rustic-style railing and on a bale dining area facing a beautiful water garden.
Specialties: A selection of exotic Asian noodles with limited bar selection. There are chef's specials daily. Kid's menu and small portions are available on request.

Pool Terrace Café
Offers a relaxed menu accompanied by a beautiful view of Jimbaran Bay, and features a dramatic free-form pool with cliff-like edge.
Specialties: A terrific selection of salads, sandwiches and Indonesian and Asian favourites. Special children's menu is available on request, as well as dishes with customised children's portions.

Terrace Bar and Lounge - Two adjoining open-air pavilions with a stunning view of Jimbaran Bay. There is an intimate courtyard adjacent to the main pavilions.

In-Villa Dining - Four Seasons In-Villa Dining is a fine-dining experience within the comfort and convenience of your guest room or suite. Choose from an extensive menu, day or night, ideal for time-zone hopping travellers, impromptu meetings or for quiet, private dining.
Specialties: Breakfast, lunch, dinner or between-meal snacks may be served in your villa around the clock. All items from the lunch menu are also available during dinner service. For the ultimate in romantic dining, we suggest our Bali by Candlelight dinner. This fabulous four-course dinner for two includes fresh flowers and a bottle of Resort-selected red or white wine. Enhance your cultural experience by sampling some delicious Balinese dishes. Bebek Betutu and Babi Guling Set dinners are available in PJs, Taman Wantilan and In-Villa dining. These dishes are served during special occasions such as wedding ceremonies and are part of the religious offering. For guests at our private estates, a chef can cook fresh fish to order, as well as interesting local dishes, as you enjoy a casual barbecue under the stars. Relax around your pool and gardens with a daytime brunch, or take an old-style afternoon picnic to the beachside coconut grove. Be entertained by local musicians and dancers, while enjoying a traditional Balinese feast of Babi Guling (suckling pig) and Bebek Betutu (roasted duck). Or step back in time, sampling the food and culture from the Dutch colonial era with a Rijsttafel dinner.

 

COOKING SCHOOL
Learn the culinary secrets of Asia at our Cooking School. Open five days a week, the school offers three self-contained modules that will appeal to novice and experienced cooks alike. In each module, our dedicated school chef works interactively with a maximum of ten participants.
Facilities: Housed in its own building, the Cooking School features a stone-paved entry courtyard and garden that welcome you into the kitchen via enormous glass doors. The air-conditioned kitchen features gleaming state-of-the-art appliances and a large, kidney-shaped, black granite preparation unit with induction hot plates. Specialty equipment to support a range of Asian cooking styles includes a tandoori oven, Asian cook range, noodle boiler, rice/vegetable steamer and duck roaster. Students sample their creations in the adjacent dining area, on its teak table and chairs of modern Balinese design, or in the shaded entry courtyard. A pantry offers related items for sale.

Modules:
Balinese cuisine (Monday)
After an optional market tour at 8:00 am, participants will gather at 10:00 am in the cooking school kitchen to create three Balinese dishes to be savoured at lunch time. Menu items will include Balinese chicken satay, pickled vegetables, grilled red snapper wrapped in banana leaf and Balinese pumpkin treat.
Spa cuisine (Wednesday)
Class starts at 9:00 am with an introduction to the taste and health benefits of Balinese jamu, locally prepared elixirs with a ginger base. This is followed by the preparation of tasty and health-conscious food with a creative flair.
Asian cuisine (Friday)
Class begins with an optional market tour at 8:00 am. Participants will then gather in the cooking school kitchen at 10:00 am to prepare and enjoy an Asian lunch.

 

FITNESS FACILITIES
The aerobics studio features a sprung floor, TV monitors with VCRs, a video library and a ballet barre. The gym features an array of cardiovascular machines equipped with TV monitors, including three treadmills, two step machines and a semi-recumbent stationary bike, all equipped with TV monitors, as well as a rowing machine. The gym also provides weight machines and free weights.

POOL
With its infinity-edge, the main pool seems to blend with the beautiful bay beyond. Water from the pool cascades over a 7-metre (23-foot) waterfall into the free-form soaking pool below. Hot and cold whirlpools are located nearby. Refreshments and light meals are available to enjoy on the pool deck.

SERVICE FOR KIDS
Whether yours is just beginning, all grown-up or at any stage in-between, Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay is a wonderful base for your family. Children age two to 12 will be immersed into the rich culture of Bali at the Jimba Club, inspired by the turtles that lay eggs on Jimbaran Beach on front of the Resort. Warm Balinese hospitality is provided by well-trained and friendly Resort staff. Children under 12 can share their parents' room at no extra charge.
